It is 11 pm here and we are watching the Presidential Inauguration live on TV. There's an exchange student party going on somewhere too, with popcorn, pizza and beer (keeping with the American theme). Even though it's so unsurprising and commonplace now, I still think it's neat that we can watch what's going on on the other side of the world in real-time and so easily.
Today, I've heard two viewpoints here so far about Obama: 1) Indians really like him because they feel that he can help the global economy recover and 2) Indians are 50/50% on him because he wants to stop outsourcing of jobs to places like India. I can't say I'm surprised by either opinion given that I'm at a business school.
