Around 11 pm, Grantland and I donned red shirts and walked over to the party site. We found a lit up dance floor, with Bollywood music blaring, food, drinks... and completely empty:

Turns out the party doesn't actually get started until 12 midnight (yep, though the invitation stated start was 10 pm - apparently this is what is known as "Indian time") and is expected to go until dawn! How do they do that?! I had 6 hours of class today!
So now, I'm blogging to try to stay awake so that I can walk back to the party (alone, because Grantland has already fallen asleep), hang out for 10 minutes, come back and go to sleep. Because I HAVE to see this party!
I can actually hear the music blaring from the other side of the campus... I'm not sure this old American student is gonna have enough energy to keep up with the rest of the ISBers for the rest of the school year!
Update: I arrived at the party around 12:45 am to a pretty good sized crowd. One of the ISB students actually told me that in his opinion, the appropriate time to come is more like 1 am. And, the dancing usually starts around 2 am! Well, I couldn't quite make it so late for this party (I left around 1:20 am), but I'm looking forward to the Term 8 parties, after students are done with their "placements" (recruiting for jobs) and won't care about classes anymore!
