We got cell phones. Yup, you read that right - Grantland got a temporary cell phone, but at Shirley's request so she doesn't have to worry about where he is.

It seemed important to get cell phones in case we are apart, but also because pretty much every student at ISB has a cell phone and it is even commonly used by the administration to reach you. In the past few days when Shirley has been frequenting the bidding offices, they usually asked for a cell phone number.

There are many cell phone providers in India, but we chose to go with Vodafone since we are only here short-term, and they offered an easy pre-paid plan.
